The New Forest

This area of outstanding natural beauty, situated in the south west corner of Hampshire in Southern England, has recently been made a National Park. However, the New Forest has been a special place for centuries and ancient commoning rights still allow ponies, donkeys, cattle and even pigs to roam free.

The New Forest is also important in providing threatened habitats which are home to some of Britain's rarest wildlife, some of which only occurs here.

This is just a small selection of Kevan's New Forest pictures. Many more photographs of the New Forest can be seen at New Forest Images.
